The Northeast Louisiana Emmaus Community meets on the second Saturday of each month except for the months when a Walk is scheduled.
What is an Emmaus Gathering?
A Gathering is made up of individuals in a local area who have attended a Walk to Emmaus. Gatherings are held at area churches throughout our community. We meet as a small group at 6:30 for praise and worship, followed by a Fourth Day speaker and communion. Potluck fellowship immediately follows services. We also participate in supporting Emmaus Walks by sponsoring pilgrims, serving on a team and performing various acts of agape.
Will your church host a Gathering?
Please pray about hosting a Gathering at your church. It’s easy to plan and we have all of the tools to help you. Gatherings are a great way to keep everyone in the Northeast Louisiana Emmaus Community connected and allow new members of our community to meet, form reunion groups, worship together, and fellowship. It is also a PERFECT time to introduce potential pilgrims to Emmaus!
